MATHEMATICS FLOW IN THE BLOODSTREAM OF DR. MICHAEL LACEY.

Michael Lacey is a well-known mathematician who is known to have tackled a problem associated with the law of iterated logarithm. His birthday is 26th September 1956, he grew up in America and got his Ph.D. from Illinois University in the year 1987.

Michael has produced a lot of mathematics publications and has taken his mathematical knowledge beyond limits through teaching in various universities such as Indiana University. He taught there from the year 1989 to the year 1996. It is in Indiana where Michael Lacey got a national science foundation postdoctoral fellowship, and he started the scholarship of the Hilbert Transform. From Indiana, he became an expert in mathematics in Georgia Institute of Technology.

That was in the year 1996. His professionalism didn’t go unnoticed, he acquired a Guggenheim Fellowship and finally in 2012 he was welcomed by the American Mathematical Society and became a member of it.

Lacey’s love for mathematics started when he was young and was always able to solve mathematical problems that proved hard to people his age. For him, mathematics just flowed in his bloodstream naturally. Lacy understood math by just opening a book and studying how to solve the given problems, and that was all.

Michael has mentored a lot of people both undergraduates and graduates by helping, guiding and motivating them. An unnamed student who was a mentee to Dr. Michael gives a vote of thanks because of how devoted he was to help his students.

The unnamed mentee says that she could not have received an award without the help that Dr. Michael gave her.

He has received over eight honors in mathematics and logistics sector and had over fifteen short term visitations to different universities and learning institution. Read more: Michael Lacey | Wikipedia

He is not mean with his knowledge, so he has held various talks with different organizations and agencies especially with the students.
